Massingham that is mentioned is actually Great Massingham airfield the No. 342 “Groupe Lorraine” (Free French) Squadron was based at Great Massingham from July 1943 – September 1943 hence the transfer below to Hartford Bridge renamed Blackbushe, which is what Dad always spoke about and visited when he returned in the 80s.
